In this case, the “white woman” whose name was Klara Von Helfenstein is believed to haunt the castle as she was murdered by her husband for having an extra-marital affair while he was away. She never left the castle and the visitors claim to have experienced other-worldly actions there.

A lot happened in the past with the wars and all the terrifying incidents that left some pieces to stand tall and keep the history alive. Buzludzha Monument in Bulgaria is one such “piece” from the country’s past. It was built to remember the happenings of 1891 when the Bulgarian Social Democratic Party came into existence.
Communism came to an end in 1989 and this building lost significance resulting in its abandonment.

The earthquake that struck San Francisco in 1906 was one of the factors of the town being ditched. Also, the financial panic of 1907 was a reason for its desertion.

The Bhangarh Fort in Rajasthan, India tells a horrifying story of a princess who rejected the proposal of a priest. After a failed attempt at hypnotizing the princess into marrying him, he cursed her entire family leading to a war in which everyone died including her. This led to the fort being dumped and uninhabited making it ghostly.

Petite Ceinture, Paris, France
The railroad line in Paris, called “La Petite Ceinture” that extended up to 32 km around Paris was built during the years 1852-1869. The line kept busy for some time before it got closed. In 1934, the railway line completed its last passenger service. It survived for a long time and then got abandoned.
There have been continuous discussions about the future of this deserted railway line but no conclusion has been reached yet! We’ll see what is made out of this old place after a while.

On October 6, 1975, the Detroit Lions played their first season of NFL game at The Pontiac Silverdome and people came in large groups to watch the game and also, get a glimpse of the new stadium. However, things change with time and this place was left abandoned as the Ford Field came into existence in 2002 and the Lions shifted there.
