If you are one of those people who consider their workplace as their second home (or maybe first!), then you are well aware of all the stuff that happens in that place apart from staring blankly into the laptop screens when the boss is around. Here are a few photos that depict the story of every office and the ways in which the employees avoid those yawns!
A Mug In The Scene
One thing that we have learned after spending a few years in the office is that we should not take our favorite things to that place. Yes, that won’t end well! Your things would not be personal anymore as you can tell from this picture.
The employee put up that note in the pantry expecting co-workers to respect her “reindeer mug” but they gave their respect by loving it so much and showing it with proof!
Treasure In The Fridge
The refrigerator at your office is a public facility and you can expect your personal food or drink items to vanish without your consent. That’s very normal but still followed by disappointment.
This is one example where the milk is secured with a lock on the lid of the can and such hysterical ideas can only be executed by the workers who are obsessed with their food. We guess we all fall into that category now!
And… It’s A Wrap!
While you wrapped up from work for a week-long trip to relax and unwind, your co-workers wrapped up your desk in foil. Things like these happen quite often at work as being trapped at one place in front of your laptop demands a beak and some “cool” employees take that break with such kinds of pranks.
When this employee returns from the trip, they would have a lot to unpack. Good luck!
Ready To Mingle… With Cans!
The yellow paper note is easy to interpret unless you have been single for a long time now and “date” has only one meaning in your mind dictionary.
This unamused person who responded to the note is tired of being rejected and friend-zoned. Even the cans did the same despite three attempts at dating!
We just have one piece of advice – go ask some real people out!
Refrigerator Delivers Messages…
Apart from holding the food of most of the employees, the refrigerator has a new job of delivering messages through sticky notes. Most of these messages are regarding the stealing of their meals. But look carefully here, the last note is quite the opposite of what the other three are stating (or requesting).
Someone is craving “new food” and is very honest about that to everyone using the refrigerator for keeping their eatables.
Did You Check?
The washrooms are the second-most used place after the cafeteria. Stop denying this and admit that you have done a lot in there apart from just freshening up.
But do you always flush before leaving that bathroom? The “authorities” have taken care of that and put on a note for reminding everyone about flushing. But look at what the employees interpreted that as! Those are quite a few checkmarks, right?
You Are Warned!
There are so many teams in an office and every team has a different way of dealing with the work designated to them. This is a warning displayed outside the programmers’ area and we think it is quite on point. They might cry with even the slightest sound.
They have even mentioned the song that would keep them happy and restrain them from being “violent”. Where are all the programmers? They need to approve this!
Broken Facilities Hurt…
We know you all agreed to this as broken facilities at office hurt more than broken hearts as they have a really low chance of getting fixed but broken hearts are mended in some time.
Clearly, this photo captures the feelings of all the workers who are disappointed with the tap in a non-working condition. It needs to undergo “fixage” and really soon!
Catch Up With Ketchup
Initially, we can sense seriousness in this instruction but as we keep reading, things get quite informal and very real. The person who wrote this is definitely not a fan of ketchup and wants to get rid of all the ketchup “memories” around the office especially the newsroom.
More than the instruction, the reply that was written below using ketchup is making us laugh out loud and at the same time, we want to applaud the effort that the ketchup is not spilling.
Search Operation For Ed
The open workspace is a cool idea to keep all the employees close to each other and keep the environment-friendly.
However, there is a downside to this plan of office seating too as there is always one person who is never spotted on their seat and the one who shares a desk with that “missing employee” has to answer the same question again and again.
This is the trick applied by that frustrated employee and it’s very accurate!
Keep Going…
When the pranksters reach the washroom of your office, this is what you will have to face every day! It may get worse too. Just saying, okay!
You cannot even do your business in peace as long as there are people around who love playing and making things awkward for others. Beware, you are under surveillance!
That choice of painting in the washroom deserves an award.
Which One Are You?
This signboard needs to go up at every workplace as this speaks the truth. But make sure you know the category in which you fall. Are you keeping your co-workers entertained and happy throughout the day? Or are they more interested in seeing you walk out of that door?
Either way, you are termed as a “joy-giver” and that can be listed as an achievement in your resume!
Fishy Announcement
There is always one specific dish that cannot be eaten in public because of the strong smell it produces that is not pleasant for many people. Tuna fish is one of those food items that make for a delicious lunch but not at the office.
This notice is serving you with the type of fish you can relish at your place of work. Forget about carrying a tuna fish in your lunch as some aggressive stares will come your way!
What’s For Lunch?
Having a human organ for lunch? Definitely not!
We are no longer carrying a fancy lunch bag to our office as it just grabs more attention to our food than we want. In fact, we want no attention to be directed towards our food and wish that people are even scared of touching our bags. So, this seems quite a smart option as no one would want a human organ in their close vicinity. That’s just gross to even imagine.
Turning Savage For Fun
To keep the office environment light and amiable, some activities should be made a part of the routine even if that means that you need to get a few burns!
Why not be a little savage and make your way to this whiteboard with an epic response? Of course, all this is done in good spirit and no one would need a burn cream to heal after this. A dose of laughter is all that’s intended.
Is It Play Time Yet?
Just as we waited eagerly for playtime in our schools, we wish for an hour or two of fun at our workplace too. However, that’s not happening there and this guy knew it. So, he went ahead and made his cubicle a playroom with a ball pit around him.
His shift is sorted in the office as his surroundings are all colorful and pleasant. This office picture is goals and we might run out to buy a few such “decorations” too.
Welcome To The Castle
It can get really monotonous to sit at that usual spot in the office that has nothing interesting in its design. So, these guys decided to build a castle around their working area and that’s truly creative!
We can tell that they must have spent a few more hours after their shift to make this castle come into existence. But all that effort has been successful as you can see the outcome!
Crime Scene At Work
If you have not yet created a crime scene at your workplace, then go and look for an “abandoned” desk and set up this site. Wait, don’t be real about the criminal part and keep it humorous. You don’t want actual criminals roaming around with cups of coffee in their hands, right?
Also, if you are not the prankster, be alert and take care of your desk or this might happen!
From Solar System’s Perspective
We are assuming that Paul was a science student with the little model that he set up for himself at work. When the work repels you, this is what comes out of all the boredom. At least, Paul did something innovative instead of yawning at his desk.
He did not shy away from admitting his productivity for the day and the comparison is on point. We think he had this project in his mind already!
The Lowest Lows
When the manager decided to show some concern for the team by asking them if they have run out of any essentials at the office, the response got very real and deep.
Everyone seems to be exhausted and is running low on the will to live. We hope the manager is able to put that low on a high soon or else the productivity might witness a downfall.
