These popular fast-food chains have deteriorating food quality and you might have to rethink before picking a bite to eat there.
Taco Bell
The crispy taco with tempting filling is enough for us to take a ride to the restaurant. However, there have been some unpleasant reviews about their food on the internet. People are not satisfied with what the restaurant serves and report issues with quality.
Only 43% of customers are willing to give their food another chance. It’s time to get over that folded tortilla and take a long break from the trips to Taco Bell. Explore better options!
Long John Silver’s
Serving their special fried fish for a long time now, Long John Silver’s has not been in a good space recently. Customer satisfaction has worsened with only 41% of people who visited this restaurant are willing to return for another meal. Something is fishy at this place!
Their seafood is not pleasing the taste buds of many as they have tasted better. We wonder if anyone will stand in the queue for the off-putting service as stated by a few!
Arby’s
How often do you wish to devour roast beef when your stomach is making weird sounds calling for food? Not so often, right? When it comes to Arby’s dishes with roast beef, there are not many hands raised for a visit to this fast-food sandwich restaurant.
There have been some terrible experiences narrated by their customers in the past including the one where something horrifying (a severed finger!) was found in their “special” sandwich. According to the survey by Consumer Reports, 44% of the customers would head back after their first visit to Arby’s.
Dairy Queen
No one is denying the fact that Dairy Queen prepares delicious ice-cream and desserts that leave us wanting more. However, the fast-food including burgers and fries that they offer are nowhere close to the quality of their sweet foods. That’s tried and tested!
We guess this is the reason for only 43% of customers agreeing on taking another shot at this food joint. Burgers at Dairy Queen is a big no after reading all the reviews that point towards an unsavory experience.
Jack In The Box
Imagine the frustration when you wished to relish some chicken fingers and you get a “disappointment” served.
We just described people’s comments about Jack in the Box in the line above. The online ratings are extremely low for these people and people are writing things like “a mess – just gross”, “the burgers were tough and tasteless” in the review section online.
The percentage of people who return for a meal here is as low as 33%. That says a lot!
Carl’s Jr.
This fast-food restaurant chain is popular and they have good marketing strategies to bring people to their food outlets. But the participants of the Consumer Reports survey tell a different story. Only 33% would go back to Carl’s Jr. That’s not a good number for such a big name!
People are witnessing a gradual decline in their food quality and the online reviews are proof of that. Let’s research for alternate options that would be healthier and probably tastier.
Hardee’s
We have lost count of the amount of fast-food intake in our bodies on a regular basis. If you wish to bring that count to normal, you need to know what’s happening in the fast-food market. Hardee’s is one of the food chains that is receiving criticism to a certain level for its food quality.
Only 34% of Consumer Reports’ survey participants said that they would make another plan for Hardee’s. The rest are just rolling their eyes!
Burger King
At least once in two weeks, the burgers of Burger King make for a lunch or dinner meal for most of us. Going back a few years, the Burger King burgers created a storm when the “unique” ones made their spot on the menu. People rushed to the food joint to savor some fries and of course, burgers! But this has changed now.
The survey conducted reported that only 33% of people would come back for their burgers. The food is not appealing to people anymore!
Sonic
The services provided by this drive-in fast-food restaurant Sonic, are giving a tough competition to other food chains in this area. This might convince you to grab a bite at the restaurant but the ratings on their food can change that!
According to the Chicago Tribune, “the oversized bun deserves the most scorn, though the pallid-looking patty deserves to be covered up with something.” Yes, they just described the burger at Sonic. The image that our mind just created is not pretty!
The survey reveals that 36% of people would try this place again. Very few!
Sbarro
They say that pizza is an emotion and all the pizza-lovers just agreed with us and ordered one right now! Anyway, we should get back to the drill here. Sbarro and their pizzas are under review here!
People eat at this fast-food restaurant mostly because they are out of options at that moment. Sbarro is definitely not on the list of favorites as the food reviewers have a lot to say about the repugnant experience they had there.
The service and the environment of the restaurant are a major concern among the customers leading to the percentage of people returning for a meal falling to 34%.
Panda Express
Panda Express has been a top choice when Chinese dishes are what we desire! Those egg rolls do have a nice flavor and we are habitual of that. What we can tell from the reviews of the customers is that the habit might have to change soon!
Only 39% of the reviewers under the survey decided to give Panda Express another shot. The food is the only reason for this as the other factors that contribute to the rating of a fast-food restaurant like the service and hygiene are satisfactory here.
Del Taco
Do you think tacos would never leave you disheartened? Well, we are unsure after knowing what the customers have to say about Del Taco and their food. Not good words!
This food chain is not impressing people anymore and there is a lot that is going downhill with the food quality. The percentage of people who would head back for a meal at Del Taco is as low as 40% as reported by the survey. This proves that the changes have occurred!
Wendy’s
Yes, you just read the name of a really popular fast-food chain on this list! Hard to believe but then there are facts and true incidents that can’t be ignored. People are not having a good time at Wendy’s when it comes to what they serve.
The food is not treating their taste buds very well at this restaurant. We guess that’s the reason for only 38% of the participants of the survey said that they would return. The others are on an exploration of good food!
Little Caesars
A pizza place that is very convenient for your pocket!
But is that all you look for at a food place? No! We expect a decent meal at the food joint that fulfills our cravings and when it comes to pizza, our expectations are quite high. For the ones who visited Little Caesars, the third-largest pizza chain in the United States, they are not quite satisfied with what comes to their table.
One customer wrote, “I asked for a pretzel pizza and I got salt all over the whole pizza - not good.” Such disasters are highly disappointing! We sense a decline and it’s not too far away as only 37% of customers are willing to order from this chain again.
White Castle
When we mention small square hamburgers, White Castle pops in our head as that’s what they serve unique. However, the customers are not loving the “unique” anymore. The food is unappealing in many ways!
The participants of the Consumer Reports Survey give us all the reasons for not visiting this place as only 39% of them said that they would head back. The choice is yours!
Krystal
The fast-food chain, Krystal, is not receiving good reviews from its customers and hence, it made a spot in this list. Square sliders might attract you for once but then you might be among the large group of people who won’t step in this fast- food outlet again!
All we want in a fast-food meal is a good flavor that is savoring! If we can’t even get this, why would we want to stuff ourselves with all that low-nutritional food?

No one has the time to stand in a line waiting for your turn to order especially when you desperately want something to eat. We need quick service and people have complained that when they are Checkers, they have to wait for quite long before the food comes their way.
Poor service is disappointing and we can’t stand in a queue for that long. According to one reviewer, “The staff and management should be embarrassed by the exceptionally poor service and attitude to customers.”
Fast-food chains need an upgrade!
Cici’s Pizza
If you are planning to have a nice pizza party with your friends, then we’ll ask you to reconsider the options that you just chose. Cici’s Pizza was on that list, right? After all, the pizza buffet is what we live for!
We don’t want to disrupt your plan but if customer reviews are taken into account, this place is not making a good impression on people. Quoting a customer here, “actually seriously terrible”. All we ever wish for is good pizza on our plates! So, only 28% would head back for Cici’s pizza buffet.
