While we are in awe of every animal moment captured through professional lenses, there are a few pictures from the wild that surprise us and give us a sneak peek into the everyday lives of those amazing creatures. Imagine a bear chasing something mysterious in the woods and a trail cam happens to be in its way and that natural moment is clicked and treasured forever. Trail Cams, take a bow! If you still haven’t caught a clear picture of what trail cams are capable of capturing, you have entered the exact place that would enlighten you with all that trail cams have accomplished over time. Bears, wolves, deer, and many stunning residents of the wild have sparked our curiosity with their startling clicks.
What’s At The Bottom Of This Barrel?
If you think that the wild has no crimes, then you have missed an interesting part. Well, when we say crime, don’t get too serious – it’s about a deer moving around with a barrel in the middle of the night. Just when Mr. buck thought that he was all alone with that barrel, a trail cam showed up. But this deer is marked safe from any punishment as on the crack of dawn, no one would ever know which buck was audacious enough to roam around with a stolen barrel at night.
Comical Cameo By Tumbleweed
Horns of a buck might have unique shapes and sizes but one young deer was spotted flaunting a whole new antler growth on its head. Oh wait, that’s just another photobomb (we guess!). That tumbleweed had to be present there just when the trail cam approached the deer. We had a good laugh after watching this and we couldn’t have asked for anything to replace that enormous crown. There’s a new king of the jungle on its way to the throne now. But dear buck, there’s a beer chasing that position too according to another click.
Bear Chasing That Throne Or…
We guess someone just announced that the king’s place in the wild is vacant and anyone who reaches the royal spot first would be crowned as the new king. Is that why the bear was running this fast? Or was it just warming up before the big dinner party? Anyways, we are glad that we stayed out of this as no one wants to meddle in their affairs. But at first glance, it might seem like the bear wants to grab that trail cam ahead of it but the angle is a deceptive one. We are grateful for this picture.
All Eyes On The Trail Cam
This the amount of attention that trail cam received when it sneaked into a private conference held by the deer of the jungle. We can’t really say if that’s positive attention or just a way to tell the trail cam to change its direction. That’s a whole deer family gathered at one place for something important to discuss and trail cam tried to intervene and such stares were captured on that camera. Should we be terrified or is it just a warm welcome for the new member of their club – a weird-looking gadget!
An Unexpected Appearance In The Dark
There is nothing eerie about this picture as it’s just two innocent creatures captured in one frame. The trail cam captured an owl attacking a deer who was just roaming around the forest after a satisfying meal. We wonder the intentions of that owl! The owl must have felt so energetic at that moment and decided to take a flight and visit the ground and make new friends. We hope that deer welcomed the owl buddy warmly and deer-ly. They make a good pair, right? But guess who isn’t getting along!
Squirrel Takes A Leap
What’s riskier than being high up in the air and trying to cross a deer with huge horns when flying is not your forte? But this little squirrel turned out to be valorous and the trail camera captured that brave jump. One can never assume that the squirrel was trying to pounce on the deer and make it prey. That would be insane. But we can never tell what those smart animals have in mind as they always have a way to astonish us with their traits.
Funny Furry Selfie
We found someone who is impressed by the existence of trail cameras and matches our excitement level when it comes to these special gadgets. This raccoon couldn’t help but take a selfie as soon as it spotted a trail cam. Moreover, it had a perfect backdrop with bucks being their natural-self and grazing. It’s time we take a few selfie tips from the raccoon and apply them when we have our huge group of friends to be adjusted in one frame. Don’t miss that sparkle in the eyes with the flash!
Can You Relate To These Raccoons?
This gang of raccoons clicked by the trail cam is quite similar to our group of friends where one sleeps after a sip of their drink and a few snacks, the second one survives on food and doesn’t share and the others keep blabbering throughout the night half-sleep. These raccoons had their party and acted in the most relatable way as shown by the trail cam. The next time we are meeting up with our friends, we want someone to take the exact same picture of us. It would be hilarious. But that’s not the only thing that would tickle your funny bone – there’s more!
Coyote Versus Deer
When a coyote decided to make one deer its prey and have a scrumptious meal one day, it didn’t expect the targets to multiply. This is what the camera captured and it looks like a scene straight out of a movie where one person has to fight many goons all alone. That coyote is no Tom Cruise! What happened a few seconds after this picture was taken is left to the imagination of the audience. Now, pick your side and create your own action movie in the wild. Just make sure the end pleases everyone.
Rest In Peace, Trail Cam
There’s an interesting story behind this picture. The one who was responsible for the trail cam that took this photo revealed that after this moment, the camera succumbed to the attack of the powerful birds that flew from somewhere far and noticed this strange lens observing them. That’s when they decided to take their revenge. We know that the bird did all of this in self-defense. But such tales of the wildlife and their activities intrigue us more to learn about their world and what goes on in that furry tiny heads.
An Art Piece Worth Framing
At times, trail cams can capture the most magical moments and the results can turn out to be astounding just like this one. One can’t help but keep admiring the splashed colors of the sky. This is how nature amazes us and the entire credit for this photo goes to the trail camera placed there at the right time. The tiger just came out of a muddy bath and as it headed towards a brighter place to relax, the camera caught it. This is truly a piece of art that deserves to be treasured for a long time.
Raccoon’s Uber Is Here
If you think that you are the only one calling a cab after a booze night at the club with friends, then you are wrong. Raccoons are also waiting for their cabs and climbing up on them to safely reach their homes after a long day. We can tell that the swine is quite chill about the whole situation and is ready to drop the raccoon at its place. We just hope this notorious group of friends didn’t stop the cab in the middle of the journey to pick snacks for round two (or ten!) of partying.
That Buffet Glow
Did someone say “buffet”? The deer heard the message of a buffet loud and clear and hence, they gathered at the venue to savor their meals. They didn’t shy away from the trail cam as food is everything and they can’t let one tiny camera ruin their scrumptious dinner. Their eyes are definitely sparkling because of all the food presented to them in the buffet! Imagine being invited to a buffet place for relishing all types of cuisines and not having to pay a penny. It’s a dream come true for us and for the animals.
Climbing For A Longer Life
Just when this coyote thought that the furry dinner would be served, the raccoon ran for its life and climbed up the tree. Animals have a sixth sense too and that might have warned the little ringed-tail creature to sprint and find a spot to hide from the starving coyote. The trail camera just needs to be present at a secretive place that witnesses all the drama of the jungle and we can enjoy these moments captured by it. You have to admit – it is an amusing picture and you laughed a little as you imagined the whole instance.
One Feeder, Two Contenders
When a feeder had just enough food to cater for one animal, it led to a war between a raccoon and a deer. Fortunately, a trail cam captured their brawl and someone could refill the feeder to avoid such battles in the future. You might think that the deer would have won this fight and claimed all the food but you can never underestimate the power of a raccoon and its scratches. It can surprise you with all that lies behind that fur. So, don’t jump to conclusions but you are allowed to make predictions about the battle.
Tracked The Troubling Hound
This man had enough of that wild dog’s pranks and had to track it down to scare it off. That’s what we can infer from this trail cam picture. This isn’t something we see on a regular basis but it is surely a fascinating thing to watch. We can’t say the same about the two beings involved in the scenario. The hound may have caused some disruption in the man’s farm or tried to attack his chickens as why else would anyone be running in such dried grassy lands behind a wild dog? He must have a valid reason for his actions.
Flying Squirrel Chasing Its Prey
That deer may look frightened to you at first glance but on a closer look at this picture taken by a trail cam, you’ll spot the reason behind its fear. No one messes with a flying squirrel. Turns out, this deer made a poor decision and the squirrel chased it quite quickly. Are you terrified as you stare into the eyes of that squirrel? Now imagine the horror for the deer. The size doesn’t matter in this case. A tiny creature is making its way towards a big one and that’s probably not a common view around here.
Aiming For The Moon
The movies have created an image for us for the packs of coyotes and their behavior but we haven’t really seen them in real and observed them in their habitat. Trial cam took care of this and here you have a picture of three coyotes howling at the moon and we can hear the photo. The reason for that howling is to grab the attention of the fellow members of their family that are present in the surrounding areas and warn them against any enemy or when they need to shield their den. These there in the picture might be having communication with other coyotes regarding an important concern.
Buddy, Let’s Do This!
Let your imagination run wild with this one and come up with something innovative regarding these two deer. What’s happening between these two creatures? It’s a mystery that only the audience that surrounded them at that moment could solve. We don’t sense brotherhood in this picture. Rather, the situation seems quite opposite. It might be their boxing ring and they may have gathered for a round of boxing. The players look prepared and ready to fight each other aggressively. We wish we were there to cheer too but for now, trail cams are our sources of entertainment.
It’s A Hawk Attack
Fate can take a turn in a second and this squirrel would agree to this statement as it wasn’t expecting a huge hawk to follow it during its walk time. What bad timings! We sympathize with the little rodent who had to endure this attack. Hawks can be quite fast and furious while ambushing their prey. It is quite tough for that squirrel to find a place to hide amid that open green space that the huge bird can oversee from a distance. Trail cams need to have a hiding spot for these little animals!
Leap Of Anger
The deer is rushing towards that fox and will not offer mercy to anyone who comes in its way. That fox is in for a terrible fight and we can only hope that no one is hurt after this and they found a peaceful way to deal with this. Those antlers are sharp and can pierce through any skin painfully. Trail cam has definitely given us an insight into the reality of the wildlife. These cameras are our way to be plugged into their lives. There is so much more to them than we anticipated.
Motherly Instincts
The caring nature of mother bears is known to all and we know how a mama bear protects her cub from any external dangers that might show up unexpectedly. We all wish we could see a mother bear and her cub in their zone and witness that mother-baby love. Here’s something even better for those who wanted to watch that beautiful bond. This mother bear picked up her baby to bring the little one closer to a barrel of food or maybe something interesting for it to look at closely. How adorable is this?
How Do I Look?
You are not the only one running towards the camera after every other click to see how your picture turned out. Animals will also approve their photo and only then it would reach the internet. This clever fox jumped towards the person behind the lens and peeped into the gadget to see if the click is worth uploading. Can you match the level of concentration that the eyes of this fox reflect? It seems like it is analyzing every aspect of that picture and doesn’t want to miss any detail of the picture. What a moment to be captured!
That’s A Perfect Angle
This is what the wildlife photographers have to endure while on their mission to capture that one impeccable shot of the animals roaming around in the woods. A cheetah just happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to approach the photographer and sit beside him. We wonder if that man is able to breathe with that wild cat so close to him. The cheetah is so captivated by what the lens is capturing and can’t take its eyes off the camera. “That’s a perfect angle” – we can hear the fast land animal give its opinion.
Love Is In The Jungle
This photographer was engaged in her work of clicking some of the spectacular moments of nature but something even more dramatic took place during that point. A little mysterious animal with the tiniest legs walked over to her and gave her an “Eskimo kiss”. Trail cam clicked this eye-catching moment and we are here for such pictures. We hope it was a harmless love-filled kiss just like the one in the fairytales. But real life is far more complicated than those happy endings. However, for now, this picture is enough to make our day.
Surrounded By Curious Creatures
If you are a wildlife photographer who has silently managed to sneak into the fields to capture a rare animal species in its habitat, then there is a high possibility that you have woken up a few animals from their nap and piqued their curiosity with your huge camera. That’s what seemed to have happened in this case where two critters emerged out of their sleeping areas to climb up on this woman. One wants to look into the lens and the other has made itself comfortable on her back. We want to know if they all became friends and started a group chat later!
“You Better Click Me!”
This baby cheetah wasn’t letting this photographer click the nature all alone. It had to hop into the moment and jump on the shoulders of the man behind the lens and take credit for what he was clicking. That baby cheetah seems to be lost and away from his mother and must be looking for a new company for a while until the mother cheetah is back to rescue it from the human world of photography. This baby cheetah is posing just right for the trail camera and those little eyes have enchanted us. The photographer must have been distracted by this sudden appearance but we guess wildlife photographers have to deal with this regularly.
It’s A Seal-ed Deal
When a wildlife photographer approached a “seal gang” on the beach to click them, it turned out full of surprises or rather just one hefty surprise on his back! One sociable seal wanted to interact with that “lonely” photographer and gave the guy a special seal hug. The man is struggling between the group of seals that are being captured in his camera and the one that decided to jump over him. This must be an unforgettable moment for any nature photographer! Who doesn’t like a friendly encounter with a beautiful animal?
Camera For Dinner
This fox was famished and while it was on a quest for some appetizing food, it came across this camera that was held by a photographer who wanted a few snowy shots in the wild. However, he had to give an explanation to the fox about the camera and tell it that it wasn’t something it could savor. We hope the man took a picture of this fox with a close-up of its hungry face. It would be a delight to watch it after a while and remember the moment when a wild but adorable fox came to him and had a conversation.
A Horror Film
Trails cams can play some tricks and lead to certain horrifying clips that can scare anyone for a moment. Here’s an example of such a terrifying shot. We are unable to make head or tail of the kind of animal that appeared in front of the trail cam and gave the spookiest look. Well, you can keep guessing! We think the flash added to the frightening appearance too. Those big eyes are staring right at us and telling us something while that eerie smile is reminding us of all the horror movies we watched while wrapped in a blanket in our rooms. That animal is definitely up to something in the forest.
Wink For The Win
When the two deer friends found another eye staring at them from a distance, they decided to make weird faces and have a little fun with it. Little did they know, they were being captured! It is so thrilling to watch animals indulge in such mischief. We never thought that trail cams could be such amazing sources of entertainment but here we are – cheering for the animals making their way past the cameras. That wink stole the show and the alarmed reaction of the other deer is no different from what we do when someone tries to take a picture of us without any warning.
Is It Meal Time Yet?
Hunting can take various shapes and forms in the wild and sometimes, things can be slightly perplexing to us humans when we watch a scene where critters are preying on other animals. One trail cam brought this scene to us when two deer surrounded one cougar and the rest is history. Now, all we can wonder is if that cougar surrendered to the attack or the deer had to run for their lives. Anyway, one team might have relished an appetizing dinner that evening. What happens in the wild stays in the wild!
Magic Of A Motion Sensor Camera
Trail cam deserved a hug and this feline jumped in the air to give it one tight embrace. Fortunately, this attempt was recorded and we have a furry blurry click of a cat being insane yet adorable. Motion sensor cameras need to be everywhere around these animals as we would never want to miss any of their hysterical behavior. Such pictures bring pure joy to us as these animals give our lives a refreshing twist that we all crave. Be attentive, there might be another creature in the wild ready to reveals its hilarious side.
The “Front Camera” Accident
We don’t even look half as good as this deer when we accidentally open the front camera on our phone. In fact, it’s the worst moment ever for us when the front camera shows us the harsh reality we were not prepared for. We are rooting for this deer and its selfie skills. That innocent face and deep eyes of the deer can melt anyone. We are taking some tips from this deer for the next selfie that can help us impress that special someone. But it won’t happen overnight, we have to struggle to reach this level of charm.
Hiding In A Little Tunnel
These deer are always out and about in the jungle looking for some amusement on their way. However, even if they are bored, the trail cams click these animals in the most hilarious ways. One deer stumbled upon a wooden tunnel and decided to explore it. Looks like, it is stuck in the hole and yelled for help. Take a closer look and there’s a friend who showed up as a knight in shining armor for the one who could not escape the wooden prison. What a story to be told by a trail cam!
Definitely Not Walk Partners
When a deer was taking its daily walk after dinner, it expects to be alone with its thoughts but this wish wasn’t coming true that night. A flying squirrel came there to accompany the deer and we can tell how that animal felt about it – the deer wasn’t impressed by a flying company. There is some strong connection between deer and flying squirrels as they always find a way towards each other. Is that a coincidence every time or should we believe there’s something more to this bond than what is portrayed through the pictures?
An Athletic Deer
A raccoon was trying to exhibit its powers in front of a deer and that ended with the deer unveiling its athletic side. It was quite a dramatic scene to watch and the trail camera clicked the long jump it took to attack the raccoon and show all that it is capable of. Deer learn a trick or two to scare their enemies while being surrounded by giant animals to deal with every day. Maybe they learn Kung Fu or other martial parts to protect them from any attack that comes unannounced.
Bear Tastes Freedom
On a bright sunny day, a bear decided to take a stroll without anyone from its gang and that infused a sense of freedom in the big black furry animal. This is what happened next when the bear found an enormous tree to hang out with. He tried to reach the highest branch of that tree and the trail cam took a shot of that remarkable jump. That creature seems to be in a jubilant mood and would return to its group when it has tasted freedom in a satisfactory way.
Raccoons And Deer Are Inseparable
It looks like the deer feel an urge to approach a bunch of raccoons who are just sitting and relaxing as this photo depicts. Did the deer wish to stroke the furry raccoons or was it just a prankster move? We guess we’ll never know! These two animals share a secret bond that humans might not be able to comprehend. The flash made the picture slightly sinister as those raccoon eyes sparkle in the dark with the light from the trail cam. Hope to see more weirdness from this strange pair of the wild.
Owl On A Mission
That kitten may have given a tough fight to the owl before the trail cam captured this scene. Oh, poor cat! It could have been avoided if the feline wasn’t roaming in the backyard during the night. If we stay a little positive for the cat, it can be assumed that it managed to escape that owl’s firm grip and never returned to that haunted place. We can’t state what happened after this shot but the cats are warned with this. Owls will always be on a hunt for that furry creature and so, lock your kittens in the safest place you know.
Invasion Of Privacy
The animal just wanted to relieve itself and could not finish the process in peace. The trail cam had to enter its private space and take a picture of the process. Where can these animals find some privacy? This doesn’t seem fair to them. Put a camera anywhere but in the washrooms. Those are general etiquettes that everyone needs to know and follow even in the forest. Let them do their thing in solitude. Maybe the trail cams should learn a thing or two about private space.
Caught Red-Handed
It was just another day for the photographer when he stepped into the forest for some spectacular pictures of the animals and birds in their natural habitat. However, that regular day took a drastic turn with the entrance of a golden eagle. The fierce bird attacked the photographer and we think it was because they didn’t approve of the pictures in his camera. This guy will think twice (or maybe more time) before going out in the wild for a photoshoot. He might even want to reconsider his company as the person he took along this time had a good laugh and clicked the embarrassing and painful moment.
Stuck Between The Bears
The man has a smile on his face but we don’t think that he was feeling any happy or calm inside with two enormous furry animals by his side. The two bears are sniffing the man and are focused on him. The man has to stand still until the huge animals finish their fondling and head back inside the woods. The bears don’t appear dangerous to us and so, the photographer was fortunate enough to arrive back home unscathed. If the bears would have been raging and starving, it could have led to certain awful incidents.
Let Me Pose
This bird was fascinated by the camera and the photographer. So, it landed on the man’s head and asked for some attention. It looks really chirpy and cheerful with the camera pointing towards it. The photographer looks pleased with the poses of the pretty little birdie and has shifted his entire focus on it. The bluebird is confident and is keeping its head held high while being photographed. We need to borrow some poise and aplomb from this little creature and fly high towards our dreams.
Taste Test For Camera
A curious deer spotted a man in a hat from afar carrying a huge pipe-shaped thing that looked interesting from a distance. So, the animals decided to approach the man and his gadget to understand all that was going on with them. But who knew that the deer would insert its mouth inside the camera for an inspection? Animal behavior is unpredictable! The man is laughing as he poses for the picture but that smile may fade away if his expensive gadget is harmed by the animals in any way. It is his prized possession and he can’t see it being damaged right under his nose.
I Spy With My Little Eye
The photographer spent a few hours trying to set up the photo booth but all in vain. That person did not consider the animals who would find their way towards that igloo and will explore the camera lens by blocking the view. The fox spied something unusual with its little eye and ran towards it. It sat there and sniffed the camera and we can imagine the situation of the photographer stuck inside the igloo. They craved one phenomenal wildlife photo and a fox obstructed the view from the lens.
Squirrel’s New Favorite Place
Squirrels like racing around on the ground and on the trees looking for nuts and relishing every tiny bit of their favorite food that they stumble upon while running and playing. We rarely watch a squirrel being friendly with a human and climbing on the top of their back for an interaction. But this one acted in a surprising way and sat on the photographer’s bag pack. Someone noticed this rare event and took a picture and we are glad they did! It’s an adorable shot and we can’t help but wish for the squirrel to reveal its mission here. What’s up with the bag pack as a spot to hang out?
Timid Meerkats
While the photographer tried to grab the attention of a Meerkat family, they were shying away from the camera and didn’t respond to the calls. However, there was one little meerkat who was undaunted and wanted to take a view through the man’s perspective. This one fearless meerkat seemed to be fond of cameras and pictures as it didn’t hesitate before making itself comfortable on the cameraman’s back. We live for such wild but engrossing moments that keeps us updated with animal behavior.
A Sneaky Fox
Foxes are mesmerized by the photographers and cameras and this picture is proving it right. One fox saw a woman with a camera and approached her but in a very sneaky way. It didn’t climb on the photographer nor did it block the lens. It came up with another plan and made a silent entry without interrupting the photo session Why does it feel like the fox is planning something and would act upon it as soon as it has a chance? The woman is completely oblivious to all that’s happening behind her back. But once she was done with her photoshoot, she must have sensed something fishy in the neighborhood.
A Lion’s Possession
Now, this picture can bring many frightening thoughts as that camera doesn’t belong in a lion’s mouth. We wish the person who is the owner of that lens is safe and sound somewhere away from the wild. That’s not your food, Mr. Lion, you’ll have to get rid of it as soon as possible! Imagine the “King of the Jungle” taking a few shots around the woods and creating a photo album. Okay, that’s too much imagination for a day. All we know is that the camera looks pricey and the one who lost it or had to surrender to the lion and hand over the cam will never return to this place for another photo shoot.
Hunting Down Cameras
While we are convinced that lions hunt other animals in the woods, there is something else these wild felines are tracking down. Such pictures surface on the internet and fill us in with the weird happenings of the jungles and grasslands. So, the lions are captivated by these gadgets and are now, on a hunt to grab one of those. Is this some sort of warning for the wildlife and nature photographers who are bracing themselves for a photo shoot in the habitats of some ferocious animals? We guess the lions just want some training and they will be capturing some surreal moments of the wild.
Say Cheese, Please!
Foxes have entered the photography world as well and they are being entirely professional in their work. Lions are not the only ones spellbound by these unique harmless things held by humans and pointed at them. Foxes have entered that zone and are not leaving anytime soon as we can tell from this shot. We wonder what all pictures we would receive when the animals take over this job of capturing life in the wild. On a serious note, the photographers need to be more attentive with their stuff and not leave it for a critter to mess around with.
Who Is This Mouse’s Muse?
That tiny mouse is focused on the job to click an impeccable picture of whatever inspired them to climb on the branch of a tree and reach the camera. These animals are gradually taking over the human world (and we are glad!) by indulging in such activities. The mice may have a hard time adjusting to the working of the camera and carrying that hefty gadget around but they are determined to be the experts in this field. The future generations will be smiling and posing for the animal photographers!
Welcome To Foxy Photography
How often do you see a fox concentrating on something except their prey? Take a good look at this picture and you’ll know what these creatures are passionate about now. The cameras have become their best friend and it looks like they will always stay true to these new buddies. The tripod made it convenient for this fox to view its subject perfectly and click a stunning picture that would go viral on the internet. We don’t know about that photo but the shot of this creature attempting at one magnificent click has definitely stolen quite a few hearts!
What’s Poppin’?
The birds are not a big fan of the trail cams and would always look at them with suspicious eyes as if asking them, “What’s poppin’?” The cameras won’t answer that but just click a picture of them to cherish their expressions forever. This long-stretched and a wide-eyed bird has many questions but no one to answer them. Don’t worry, Birdie, you are about to rise to fame with your enchanting looks. You will thank this trail cam later when a few people gather around you for special photos and ask you to recreate that “puzzling” moment that left everyone in awe.
